Quick Beaumont and Beasley Update

I would not blame you for being sick of me spamming you with blog posts at this point. This is just a quick one, however.Β

In addition to my recent streamlining of the Beaumont and Beasley series, I’ve taken one additional step–sorta/kinda cancelling Crispin Beasley and the Waters of Yesterday. Technically, however, it’s not canceled. More like merged into The Stroke of Eleven. A means of combining both stories into one occurred to me in the course of my prewriting, so I opted for that instead. Not a big deal; I just didn’t want anyone to wonder why the Crispin story had vanished from my website. As it stands, Crispin will be playing a very important role inΒ The Stroke of Eleven (instead of being in it for five minutes like he was in the earlier outlines), so it’s no great loss.

Watch this space for further updates on Beaumont and Beasley!

Good idea! Personally I was really hoping Crispin would play a bigger role next, so this will be fun. πŸ™‚

He will indeed…though perhaps not in the way you might expect. *evil chuckle*

Oh, cool! I love when writing ideas like that present themselves as a way to streamline things while simultaneously doubling the awesome-factor by combining things. πŸ˜€

Me too! It doesn’t happen to me often, but I’m always glad when it does. πŸ˜€

And here I thought everyone was going to find him irritating. Hence the original plan to, in the language of TV Tropes, “put him on a bus” at the end of Book 1. πŸ˜†
